1. The Homio service
Homio provides tools for shared household coordination, including household setup, invitations, expenses, tasks, shopping, and related household activity surfaces.
Homio may evolve over time, and some features may change, improve, or be discontinued.
2. Eligibility
Homio is not directed to children.
You may only use Homio if you have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms under the laws that apply to you.
3. Your account and security
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide for your account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity that occurs through your account.
- If you believe your account has been compromised, you should secure it promptly, including by resetting your password if needed.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse Homio, interfere with the service, access it in unauthorized ways, or use it to violate the rights of others.
- Do not attempt to bypass security or access accounts, households, or data you are not authorized to use.
- Do not use Homio to upload unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful content.
- Do not disrupt the service, automate abusive traffic, or attempt to reverse engineer protected parts of the service except where law clearly permits it.
5. Household content
You may submit and manage household-related content inside Homio, such as names, expenses, tasks, list items, and invitation details.
You remain responsible for the content you submit and for ensuring that you have the right to share it.
You grant Homio a limited right to host, process, transmit, and display that content only as needed to operate and improve the service for its intended purpose.
6. Account deletion and service history
You may delete your account through the app where that functionality is available.
When an account is deleted, Homio may anonymize personal account data while preserving shared household records that other members rely on for ongoing history and correctness.
7. Suspension or termination
Homio may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the service if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, misused the service, created risk for other users, or exposed Homio to security, legal, or operational harm.
8. Availability and disclaimers
Homio is provided on an as-available basis. We work to keep the service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that every feature will always be available.
To the extent permitted by law, Homio disclaims implied warranties that are not expressly stated in these Terms.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Homio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of the service.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we do, we will publish the updated version and revise the date shown at the top of this page.
